weddings and  elopements

Documentary wedding photographer based in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Capturing authentic love stories across the province, preserving real emotion in timeless imagery using both digital & film photography.

my approach to wedding photography

I am a full time documentary wedding photographer; I capture moments as they happen with a deep respect for all of the emotions woven through a wedding day. If you are looking for a photographer whose entire focus is on you and your loved ones enjoying your day, I am the one for you! I work with spacious timelines that allow for plenty of breathing room, as I’ve found the magic always happens in those in-between moments.

I will be a soft presence as I move through your day, capturing it from every angle. For full day wedding packages, my second photographer, Michael, will be right there with me. He has been trained by me to see and capture the emotion and depth of a wedding day in the same way that I do, right down to the technical way he handles a camera. This ensures that every image in your final gallery feels like one cohesive story. We document on a mix of both digital and film cameras to give your wedding gallery a nostalgic yet timeless quality.

I make art that is authentic to each and every couple that chooses me as their wedding photographer.

investment

Think of pricing as just one step toward creating something that lasts.

The work I do is profound, and that is why I invest deeply in every couple I work with.

From our first coffee together to getting to know you, meeting whenever you need along the way, I’m here to make sure your story is told with care and intention. Every detail, the way you move through your day, and the moments that matter most to you are captured in a way that is completely yours.

My pricing is shaped by the equipment I trust, the experience I’ve grown into, the time I pour into every couple, the demand for my services, and the expenses behind the scenes.

Full-day wedding packages start at $5300 and always include film photography and my trained by me second photographer, Michael.

Elopement packages start at $2200 with the option to add film photography and second photographer to your booking.

how we will tell your story, together

We start with a chat.

Whether we meet in person for coffee or hop on a call, I want to hear everything - what you are planning, how you want the day to feel, the details you’re most excited about. Connection comes first, always.

We make it official.

You’ll sign your contract and pay your booking retainer - and just like that, your date is locked in. We are doing the damn thing.

I will send along a planning guide to help you with the rest of your planning, along with personal venue and vendor recomendations, my calendar is always open for coffee dates and calls whenever you need.

Next, we may plan your discounted engagement session. This our chance to hang out for an hour, get the two of you comfortable in front of the camera, and create some photos together - no pressure, just fun.

Closer to wedding day, I  send along a detailed questionnaire and we plan our final meeting to chat about the finer details and timings of your day.

When the day arrives, we will be by your side.

Michael, my second photographer and I are there with you all day long - documenting moments with care and letting the day unfold at its own pace. Nothing forced, nothing rushed. Just your story, told honestly.

Afterward, a little magic.

You will receive a collection of instant film photographs the night of your wedding,  a handful of digital sneak peeks within one week, and your full digital and film gallery within twelve weeks. I do not believe in limiting the number of photographs that you will receive from your wedding day, you will receive each image that feels meaningful to your story - this usually looks like a minimum of fifty images per hour.
