documentary photographer
Wedding and lifestyle photographer based in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
I strive to craft imagery that feels authentic to each couple who trusts me with their story - documenting a wedding day or session in a way that is both true to the moment and artistic.
More than anything, I want you to look back at your images - whether it be the day you receive them or twenty years from now and feel it all, just as vividly as you did in the moment.
I understand how important it is to be the one keeping your memories safe, this is my full time job and I pour my entire heart into the work that I do. I am so happy you found your way to me.
Storytelling through stills - for those who value feeling over formality.
i'm kait
I have a deep respect and interest in emotion, you will see this shine very clearly in the photographs that I produce.
I capture with intention, curiosity, and a deep love for things that last.
My goal is to capture your story exactly as it happens so that when you look back at your photos, it feels like stepping right back into the moment.

how it all started
When I was just a little one my mama’s room was a sanctuary of perfectly imperfect film photographs - family, friends, everyday moments frozen in time and pinned to her walls.
Growing up in a home filled with photographs displayed all around was so incredibly beautiful and I have no doubt that it shaped me into the documentary photographer I am today.
this is michael, my second photographer
Michael is taught by me to photograph love stories with the same care and intention that I do. He is also my best friend and partner, doing this work together feels incredibly special.
Michael and I met working in the restaurant industry many moons ago, and with our history of working in the service industry for many years – we both know how to read a room, we know how to get on with your guests to bring out the best in them and make them comfortable around us, we know how to communicate with one another using just a slight glance across a crowded room.

everyday life
When we aren’t capturing love stories, you will find us eating at a local restaurant, making a lovely meal at home with a nice bottle of wine, or just hanging on the couch reading with our cat Willow.
