The morning started at an Airbnb in Trinity where Jess and her friends got ready. From there we headed to Dunfield for a first look and private vows with Josh, the ocean and hills as the backdrop.
Afterward, we went to Jess’ parents’ house. It was a quieter part of the day, where she shared a first look with her parents before we all headed back toward the ocean backdrops of the Bonavista Peninsula. We spent the rest of the afternoon wandering through Trinity with the wedding party until it was time for the ceremony.
Jess and Josh chose a spot in Trinity that holds a lot of meaning for them; it’s the piece of land where they plan to build their future cabin. After the ceremony, they took a moment for themselves back at the Airbnb to reset before heading to Port Rexton Brewery for the reception.
This day was a standout for Michael and I. Jess and Josh put their full trust in us, which allowed them to just be present and embrace the day as it happened. You could feel the connection between them and their people in every part of the day. Weddings like this, love like this, is why I do what I do.
